Help Build the Future of Offline Knowledge

Project NOMAD is community-driven. Volunteers are the backbone of everything we do, from answering questions to keeping the project organized.

Two Ways to Contribute

Pick the role that fits your skills and availability. Both make a real difference.

Discord Helper

Help new users get started, answer setup questions, and be the friendly first line of support in our Discord community. You don't need to be a developer. If you've installed and used Project NOMAD, you're qualified.

  • Answer common setup and install questions
  • Welcome new members and point them to resources
  • Escalate real bugs to GitHub Issues

GitHub Triage

Help organize bug reports and feature requests, keep the issue tracker clean, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Some technical knowledge is helpful for this role.

  • Reproduce and confirm reported bugs
  • Flag duplicates and redirect feature requests
  • Ask users for debug info and reproduction steps

Code Contributions

If you write code, pull requests are always welcome. The project is TypeScript (AdonisJS + React) with Docker on the backend. Check out the open issues for things that need attention, or bring your own ideas.
